Transportation to and from the Aurland Valley 

The season for hiking the Aurland Valley is from May/June til the end of October. We recommend you take a taxi or travel by bus to Østerbø and hike down to Vassbygdi. From here you can return to Aurland or Flåm by taxi or bus.The hike is approximately 20 km and takes between 6 and 8 hrs. Check the local weather forecast ahead of your hike. You will find several providers of both guiding and transport to an adventure to remember.
